Single Again - Cheating Men
There must be something about America and I realise this is a
type thing to say but I always believe that honour is paramount.
What some of u girls are talking about is disgraceful on the part of the man / boy. Honour and integrity are everything.
Before everyone jumps on my case about "Yeah, yeah, yeah,....." wait till cornercon.

Interesting points. It's been a long time since I was single, but back in the '80s, we didn't necessarily take our relationships so seriously.
When you move in with someone, or make a long term commitment, you have to ask yourselves what's the downside.
IMO, this is what marriage is all about. I know a lot of people don't see it that way anymore. But, until you've made that formal commitment to each other, you're pretty much at risk for being dumped and / or hurt.
Of course, that begs the question of how can you get to a point in a relationship where you are engaged / married. That's a toughie.
All that said, I think it's disgraceful when a man/woman cheats on his/her significant other if that relationship is "serious." If you're going to perpetrate infidelity, bring it out in the open with the s.o. and break it off or call a break, or whatever... Sneaking around is slimey, and it was even slimey back in my day.

Shel, my best wishes, of course! I'm sure Martin will share his perspective on this at some point, and I won't judge either of you regardless.
In any case, it's really good to see you (hear from you), and I'm not the slightest bit worried about you finding the "right" guy.

....I am happy now......moved on to a much better place with my sweet sweet wife who is the best women in the world for me/to me!!!
Dont worry everyone.....who has fallen of the love wagon....you will ride again
