If we stop immediately does that mean that I need to delete what I just posted now?!?!?!?!?!

 

Okay I can see that we are getting ourselves confused between the terms "immediately" and "right away" .....

can someone please define these and then we can make a decision .....

 

I think "immediately" means right away,

and "right away" means immediately.

But if we stopped posting straight away then would that be "immediately" or "right away"?!?!?!?!?

 

I think we should form an ad hoc subcommittee to define these terms... immediately .

Agreed, I will not post anymore in this thread until we have defined "immediately" "straightaway" and "rightaway" ......

By the way isn't "straightaway" the terms the yanks use for the straight on a race track ?????

I think we need to form a second committee to figure out why we should stop posting.

In the mean time I think that we should all stop posting on this thread until a decision has been made by both of the committee's.

Very well, we'll form three sub-committees then, one to define the terms "rightaway" and "immediately," one to figure out why we should stop posting, and a third one to decide which sub-committee should define "straightaway"

So who's going to volunteer to be in the committees? I don't really care to be in any of the committees. I would just like to see a decision made on this matter in a quick and efficient manner.

 

I am happy to head up the "straightaway" committee ...... I feel very strongly that this needs to be sorted out quickly and efficiently and I believe that my desire in that respect will help us come to a swift and concise conclusion .......
