Snow is good... ok, Mr "I live in the bay area where it never actually snows"...

Snow is good for about 15 minutes, after that it's just a pain in the arse.

The Doc says:

The reason, dear boy, that it is snowing is elementary. The sunhas an effect on pooling moisture known as 'evaporation'. It was often believed that a puddle of water merely dried up, when in truth, it has 'evaporated' from the effects of the sun. The 'evaporated' water is broken down and remains in the atmosphere, loctaion dependant upon wind and temperature. When air temperatures or weather fronts barometric pressures decrease, the resounding effect of the moisture trapped in the air freezing and crystalizing often takes place. This is known as snow. THe condensed moisture, now heavier than air, is drawn toward the earth by gravity. Sometimes, the snow may melt before arriving on the earth surface, this is known as rain. Sometimes the moisture condense in the liquid state (rain) and is again drawn to the earth by gravity, only to pass through a lower temperature area and crystalize, becoming snow.

In summation; it must be cold there.
