I stayed in a convent in Rome for a month during the summer of '78. Hot water for exactly one hour in the morning. Hard rolls with Nutella (I came to love this, but it was an acquired taste). Crepe toilet paper (less than exciting!)
Being in Rome for a summer rocked though. Great time!

It was a hot summer day in the morning of '64... I had no pants on. Aunt Jemima was cooking pancakes. I must say these were my golden years because I can barely recall what happened.

but she sure knows how to make dem pancakes good!
the IHOP... THey used to have some great flavors... Scary thing is I can't remember what they were called.
