I was ready to ask him if he got a commission from Biaxin....I was doubled over with abdominal pain this AM (my third day of taking it) and I am not a wimp when it comes to pain. The remaining 8 pills are in the garbage....screw the co-pay.

Biaxin is a VERY strong anti-biotic....I was on it when I had Pneumonia years ago....I was doubled over in pain from it, until I remembered what the side effects are....When you use any anti-biotic you should always take a Acidofolis(Spelling???)supplement or eat real yogurt when you take the medication...
Sure be nice if the doctor or pharmacist told me about the acidophilus
Makes perfect sense since that is the good intestinal bacteria and antibiotics kill them off. I should have remembered that. And he told me my lungs are clear...and still gave me this killer.
This new one seems milder so far, and since the symptoms are gone, it will probably be sufficient...
