Some pics from my US trip.
Thanks Luke.
I've been looking into things and trying to organize some interviews for positions.
I think I should have gone to Vegas and married a cheap hooker just to get a green card.

Thanks, I hope it all works out for you too Jack.
Have you had any problems so far? I need to find a sponsor before I can go any further at the moment. I'm hoping to hear something this week from a place in Dayton.
:fingers crossed:

Everything has been going quite smoothly here. Lawyer fees are killing me though (my company won't bloody(
) pay for that).
Good luck with the sponsor
. You'll be two states away from me when you get here.

That's a fun way to get a green card.

That's cool Jack. About how long are you into the process now?
Charlie,
I don't believe the application is taking any longer than before to process. In fact, a friend of mine claims that because INS is issuing much fewer temporary visas than before, green card applications are actually moving along much faster. If this is true, I guess it's a blessing for me... but at the expense of many new people trying to enter the country (for education, work etc)
Luke,
The application process comprises of three stages, and I am in my third stage now (actually second stage too, since they recently changed the rules so that we can do both simultaneously). I should get my green card in about a year.
