Without drifting, we got about 26-30" in my neighborhood... But if you look at the first picture from inside... you can see that same window in the second picture (which was taken as the storm was just starting). Its the downstairs window on the farthest right. That should give you an idea what it was like when it was over.

garden pix, VMOM!! Isn't our country just amazing that you can have all that green and all that white in the same big ole country.

And of course, our usual overdoes of around here. We did get rain last week for once .

I have tulips comin' up that my son gave me for Mother's Day last year.

Man, I remember coming home from deployment every March to a beautiful green Camarillo/Pt. Mugu... that was unfortunately brown by mid June.


I never could get over the smell of all that farmland between the two!
