I'm beginning to calm down (as you can see from my capitalization). I guess I never rode it after I got my other bikes, but that thing cost a buttload, not to mention the full XTR kit (even the discs). Ugh, I think I'm more pissed that he borrowed without asking, than I am that it was stolen.

That makes 3 bikes lost. First was flat-out stolen - from a public park, no less. Second was lost to a river. And now this one.

 

I would flip out if someone did that.

Alex, that should be covered under your parents homeowner's policy, or perhaps your cousins' policy... $2000 bike would be worth the hassle of filing a police report and claim... or just kick the shit out of your cousin and make him work it off
