I think if I were to get a dog again, I would get two of them from the outset so they have company. I just fell victim to my son at age 11, thinking "a boy and his dog," "no more kids, a dog will be a nice addition to the family," etc. But unfortunately we got one that can't handle being alone.
His new owners are going to be much better for him, I'm sure.S2000's worst enemy ...
