Default speaking of 'days'....
the only references I've seen to a 'Bacon Day' was a post that 'International Bacon Day' should be the second tuesday of October. Couldn't tell you why. Also, two guys named Luke and Matt created a 'Bacon Day' but I have been unable to find a date for their bacon day.

This is pivotal moment in the history of man kind. Bacon needs it's Day. Who will heed the call ???

that is a quality suggestion

I'm thinking it needs to be

"Semi-Annual Bacon Day" twice a year,

or

"Bacon Days" a week long bacon festival....
