I really don't care what my brother does outside our house, its his life. I've suspected for a while but never had any proof, and when he's stupid enough to bring it home, I feel forced to act.

I talked to one of my brothers friends today and he informed me that my bro had brought pot down to his house to show him... that's just stupid. Thus, I went to his room and within 5 seconds was able to find his pipe and lighter and hid them from him(copper... I'm sure all the copper that gets baked off when he uses it is doing his lungs a whole lot of good). 5 seconds... I really expected better of my brother...

Now, the question is, should I tell my parents flat out, should I hint it to them, or just tell my brother what an idiot he is and hope he doesn't repeat it?

All I can say is what I remember as a kid......I'm glad I was never a rat. You need to decide what you think is right after taking in all the information. Is it causing a problem?

My bro did it fairly young compared to me and I didn't tell on him. He had a good head on his shoulders and it never became a problem.

 

I think hiding it on him is a good idea. Telling your parents will do nothing but create animosity between you. The best thing is for him to wisen up and not be so blatant about it - i.e. hide it better and don't run around telling friends.

 

If your bro was being stupid about it? That would be one thing...and I wouldn't go to your parents, I would talk to him first. I could see if it was causing a problem , but if he's just a social smoker and he isn't doing anything stupid that would get his ass busted...I wouldn't lay the smack down on him.

when I was in college, I would sometimes come home for the weekend. My mom, being the good mother she is, would do my laundry....She would find my bag in my jeans from time to time......And she would just toss it.....Trashcan, toilet whatever...


I finally had to explain to her how much the sh*t cost.....

She stopped tossing it.....
