Where to start?
My frustrations exist with the exclusivity here. Maybe I am an idiot, and deserve the abuse. I don't know what the cause to be honest. Here is what I know though.
The 'noob crew' uses the corner game to chat, mostly. The 'old heads' use several threads to hold several conversations, while the 'noob crew' uses one thread for multiple conversations, and keeps track of corner's earned/sniped accordingly. This is a very diferent way of operating, and I'm sorry if some can't see that.
I'm not going to deny that conversations don't not un-occur there, we can go pages at a time without saying a word. Wick is to bacon, as I am to 'asdf', in those cases. But eventually, meaningful banter is had by all.
Several weeks ago, and something I thought was a dead issue, was the FC exploit drama. The 'noob crew' stumbled across the exploit. Like kids in a candy store, we had fun with it. We even challenged ourselves to see how fast a corner game could be completed (2000 posts in 56 minutes, btw). During this rampent whoring, a lot of us realized how dumb this actually was. No skill, no panche, and most importantly, no conversation.
Immediatly following, and prior to any threats of bannishment, we self regulated ourselves and most (cough JEFF cough) agreed to stop. In all fairness, our nagging convinced Jeff to stop shortly there after as well.
That's when the proverbial bacon hit the fan. (Let's all visualize that one for a second. Mmmmmmmmm) I was called fukstain noob/waste of resources (first time for everything), and a scripter. Jeebus H Bacon it's a pain in the dick to reference old threads, and pull quotes out.
I felt bad, really bad. Like 'I should have known better' kinda bad. But whipty do eh? A noob's desire to do the right thing is about as important as the male teet. Chivalry among the 'noob crew'?
So I treaded lightly around here. Wiping my feet before coming in, saying excuse me after I
, even changing Wick's bacon bib from time to time. But that subservient-ness got me thinking. This has been seen before? So I did a little old thread diving (here's where I start talking about sh1t I know nothing about 
)
I'm gonna guess here, that the 2000 posts per thread limit is something new, another unwritten rule that we all abide by. It seems in the past that was all but ignored.
It also seems that we were not, in fact, the first to exploit the FC rule. If you call Unabagaler a pimp, than he certainly was getting his post on (Bear in mind, I'm the waste of resources here) He's a mod though, and he should be given special ablilities not bound to our laws of physics. I'm cool with that. Getting 1800 posts in a single minute seems a bit extreme.
And lo, we weren't even the first ones to use it in a corner game.
This irked the hell out of me. I felt the double standard. I vented.
I stand by what I said. I strongly believe there are a group of open minded individuals here who exist to spread cheeky humor, there are agree-monkeys who suck up to appear part of the pack, and there are the assholes. If I need to make a thread to spread that belief? So be it.

till the end) This serious business has no place in the Corner. I propose we create a secondary forum (similar to most regional forums have) where we can post serious stuff.
The irony being regional forums secondary forum is usually where people post nonsense, but here in the corner, we post serious stuff in the 2nd forum, and nonsense in the primary.
