What he meant/should have said

No "meddling" or mandating was done. Just providing opportunity for her parents to have a Federal judge look at the case and make sure her civil rights are not being violated. She could die before given that oppertunity if they had waited until after their Easter break. That would be lazy and criminal.

You think the GOVT will hold a special session this weekend to work on Social Security?
Why? No one wants to live poor or old, we'll just pull the plug and put them out of thier misery. Then there would be no Social Security problem.

BTW: Terry's "doctor" hired by her 'loving' husband is a proponent of knocking off anyone with alzheimer's too.

Or how about a special session to stop killing our young boys and girls in Iraq!
I'm grateful for our 'volunteer' men and women.

Yes, but don't starve / kill her. She's on a feeding tube. Not a heart & lung machine.

The "beloved" Husband is as sleezy as they come. The parents have offered to take sole custody of the situation, but if she lives he doesn't get to collect whats left of the money won in a previous lawsuit to take care of her.

I'm torn on the situation. I know I wouldn't want to live like this but I know I wouldn't want to die the way they want her to. They are trying to starve her to death! Animals and criminals die better then she will. If she truely wishes to die, I doubt she would want to die of starvation.

15 years that her husband has refused her treatment.

No treatment and therapy = no progress.

We can't take care of the homeless but we have to have a special session of Congress to deal with one person......its all politics.
No one in their right mind would want to live homeless. Pull the plug on those people.
