I went on my 4th s2000 test drive last Saturday. I wanted to get a comparative price on a new s while I was in the city. I also wanted to take a thorough test drive of a used s. I test drove 3 last year 2 new and 1 used but the 2 new ones I didn't want to vtec and the used one I got stuck in traffic the whole time. So I asked my Dad if he wanted to go for a test ride with me he said sure after all it was sunny and 65 degrees. Get to the Honda dealer they have an 00 G/P white on the lot. In the new car lot they had a new suzuka and what looked to be a new formula red on these suspended car racks. I really love that red, pictures don't do it justice! So I request a salesman have him get me the keys to the 00 till him I want to go out with my Dad in it. We put the top down and take off. So I finally really got to experience the s on the freeway, curvy 2 lane. LOVED it! Car had 37k on it and still felt tight. Even my Dad, altho he is a car guy,( but thinks 10 grand is a lot for a car) said to me you know what this is a helluva a lot of car for the price. I could go on and on about how I enjoyed the car. I really did. I got to check out all my concerns with the s ergonomic stuff etc.. and everything was fine. The only problem I had was I ground shifting into 2nd on a redline 1-2 shift but I wouldn't let that deter me.
A funny thing is every s I have driven has been a diffrent color. I drove silver,red,black and white.

 

What no Spa???

 

They don't stay on the lots long enough.
