In some places if you don't shovel a path to your mailbox the mailperson will leave a note in your mailbox saying that they can't deliver your mail because your mailbox is not shoveled out.

 

^ I had a postal worker file a complaint because the weekly garbage drop collection spot was too close to the mailbox, it was like 6 feet away, lol.

 

The garbage was socially distant from the mail.

My house has two valves on the incoming water feed inside the house. The first valve does nothing and seems like it broke long before we moved in. The second valve is the one that works. I assume the second valve was installed (obviously much newer) due to the first one failing, why did they leave the first one in place? They are literally less than 2 feet apart. My head hurts

 

Apparently not enough for this worker. The character depicted as Newman on Seinfeld really does exist in the real postal service world.

 

It is more work to remove the faulty valve and replace it with a straight piece of pipe, I might have done the same as I am just as lazy as those people, lol.

Much like your muscles, exercise your water shut-off valves on a regular basis so they don't end up like that original one.

 

Problem could of been that you didn't leave him the required cannoli three times a week.
