Is TJ really from Oklahoma? And has anyone talked to Wicky in person lately?
Stroke leaves Sarasota woman with British accent
SARASOTA COUNTY -- Judi Roberts was attempting to solve The New York Times crossword puzzle on a Sunday four years ago when she lost the strength to write with her right hand.
A stroke temporarily paralyzed the 57-year-old Sarasota County woman's right side and left her unable to talk. After months of therapy, she recovered physically and could make guttural sounds.
But when her speaking voice finally returned, it was not her own.
Instead of the deep voice and northern accent she acquired while growing up outside Philadelphia, Roberts spoke with what sounded like a higher-pitched, British accent.
But this summer neuro-linguistic experts at the University of Central Florida diagnosed Roberts with an extremely rare disorder called "foreign accent syndrome." The condition, which usually results from a stroke or HEAD INJURY, causes patients to change their pronunciation to sound like non-native speakers.

Midwesterners do not like sheep - sheep are too small. They like cows
However, I'm not from the Midwest. Being a Floridian, I prefer Ms. WT
