Just feel I need to rant .......

As of 1st October, because I don't have a bar code in my passport (because it was issued in Japan), I now have to apply for a tourist visa to enter the US. In order to apply for this visa I have to make an appointment for an interview, the time of which I have no choice about and which cannot be changed, and I have to pay US$10 for the pleasure of just arranging that interview I then have to put in my visa application which usually takes 4 weeks but can take up to 8 weeks (so I am leeping my fingers VERY tightly crossed that the visa will be through in time for Corner Con !!!!!!), and for which the FOCKERS are going to charge me US$100 !!!!!!!!! WTF ?????

US customs / immigration is in chaos. I don't think this is anything new, but it's a nightmare (and I don't think you're alone).

 

Just found a helpline telephone number to answer your queries regarding visas ...... you have to PAY to get your questions answered !!!!!

They certainly know hoe to make you feel SOOOOO welcome
