Today I can tell you that I taught 2 of mine and one of their to drive a stick. I had to learn from my Uncle when I was young since I wanted to buy a Bug and well he had a Datsun Pickup & taught me, I recall a few 's shed as he was not real patient and ed a few times
which is why I WAS very patient with the boys and they all did great! Such a great feeling when you finally get the syncing of the clutch like when you learned to ride a bike and your Dad or Mom finally lets GO!
Today I think we share quite a few similar experiences Mom. Good for you to teach that many people to drive stick, fantastic. You need to be very patient that is for sure.
My family tried to teach me on my sister's Fiero , that car was hard to learn on due to the super heavy clutch, it was terrible. Then my uncle took me in his 240Z and it was a breeze with the clutch being so much smoother. One day my sister and parents went to a wedding, I was home alone and I decided to take out the Fiero to teach myself. I stalled that sucker a hundred times. but I eventually got it, lol.

That is fantastic Mom, wow, I couldn't imagine, but glad it all worked out safely. If you were a guy I'd say you got some big cojones. lol
Today the car wash was open HOLY CRAP couldn't believe it. Washed the car and dried off the door jam with a chamois since it is supposed to be minus 10 tonight.
I like to spray the rubber door weatherstripping with silicone spray to keep it from freezing on WRX, drying it off is a good idea as they do get sticky after a car wash.
