Today...................
Today my son drove our manual Civic Si on a 2 hour trip to visit relatives, a perfect day of driving for him, no mistakes the entire day, pretty good with him only having about 1.5 hours of training with me on the manual tranny before today. The Civic is a great car for newbie drivers on manuals with a nice clutch and shifter. He did great, and none of his friends know how to drive a manual

Back in the day I taught my friend on my Si. She wanted to know how to drive manual so she’d be prepared for international humanitarian work. I know I’m gonna sound old but it’s a shame manuals are becoming less common.
That is very cool, I have taught a number of family members over the years. Yeah manuals are getting hard to find on new models, for sure.
today I re-purposed a
Soda Shop Metal
chair that I picked for $15 due to rust & no seat into a planter
placed a pot down into the seat rim and planted it then placed it in the yard
the other one is getting a fresh coat of paint and a new seat I'm gonna build.
