Today I stayed inside all day and took a nice long nap this afternoon.

Today I'm responding with not enough garage, as it's only a 2 fer. Aren't many houses around here with more than a 2 car, 3 car garage is a rarity.

I’m wondering why builders these days don’t make a 4 car garage standard - double height ceilings and double length etc.
Mom had a 2022 Cadillac Escalade as a loaner car a couple months ago and we tried to fit it into the garage - no effing way - it still stuck it’s ass out the back by at least 3’.

Today I'm in agreement with you to a point, the standard 2 car garage isn't big enough for most SUV's, and forget it if you've got a full size truck. Our current garage is a 2 bay, but we have two 8' single doors with space in between so it's wider than most 2 car garages.
I'd love a 3-4+ garage, but those tend to be pole barns here which aren't exactly pretty to look at.

Edit: It's also why I got the Land Rover over the Expedition, Rover fits in my garage, Expedition does not.

Today moms telling you two ^^^^ that here 3 car garages are found easily and some may not have 3 doors but have a Tandem which works well for people to store their boats in. Some builders now are also offering RV garages

We have a 3 with the double and 1 single door now we do not park the RAM in there as C-6 has his worksop in the single side

Today I think most people use their garage as storage. Neither of M’s vehicles fit in the garage (truck is too tall, Type S is too long) so it’s essentially storage for outdoor stuff…and there’s not a lot of space to spare.

Today I'm reminding mom that Michigan isn't California, I'll also add that money can build you pretty much anything but us normal folks have budgets to stay within

Most houses in Houston have 3 car garages, funny thing is they don't tend to park cars in them My parents have a 3 car garage and only one car is ever in it, rest of the garage is filled with "stuff".

Today Spider has me ing with the NORMAL FOLKS have budgets to stay within this from the Man with like 18 vehicles none of which suck

also letting you know that yeah its prolly just an IE area of Cali thing as most of the more dense populated area do not have room for 3 car garages so its really a property value / availability issue vs the $$$$$
