Today I will be leaving an hour early because I can.

 

Today I'm doing jack squat.

 

College football starts today!!! 7 hours of tailgating and getting reacquainted with our friends before kickoff. God, I've been waiting a long time for this day!!!

 

today I drove the Honda to work, top down was nice.

 

today I took a sick day to look after Melissa (I'm fine, but she's not feeling well). She kept me up all night so it's not like I'd have been worth a damn @ work anyway.

 

I hope she is feeling better - is it a body ache or flu/cold type thing?

 

Today, It's not Covid, that much is certain. Got tested for that. She rarely gets sick or calls out even when she doesn't fell well, but she did today. I don't think it's the Flu, but then again... could be. I'll play taxi to take her somewhere if this gets worse. Low grade fever is low.

 

Today ( not too change the subject) but sometimes all
the little things just catch up you/her and it just hits you. It hit me pretty hard late last week - sore throat, vomiting etc. There wasn’t any advance symptoms, it just came on about 2am.
