Today is a holiday, rest is good, still tired though, a few more days off would be nice

 

Today, I had my yearly review at work. Had mostly 8-9 (on a scale of 1-10) but my C U Next Tuesday of a manager gave me a 3 on customer interaction- which was ironic in that while I was in that meeting, I was called to customer service at least 3 times to help customers that asked for me by name. I told one customer about the review process, she said ‘what?’ She walked over to the managers office and chewed her out , saying that I’m the only reason that she shops at my store.

 

Reading all of your customer stories I would have to say your best trait must be customer interaction Dave. That is very ironic that the manager would pull that, they obviously don't know you well or their customers. It is sad that you need to defend yourself on that.

 

Easier said than done but try not to let it get to you. I've been through that before and to me the best judge of my work performance is my customers they are the ones who's opinion I respect.

 

today we are meeting with the owner of an Alumawood company to discuss the 2 patio covers we will have added to the house.

 

Today I called in for my day gig and am resting my big toe until I go to work tonight.
