Today I learned the daughter of another officer in my department will likely be hired. It's the same daughter the officer has been trying to hook me up with.

Yes they did and on a dyno. They put the drive wheels on rollers, but the car in gear and ran the engine to 2,000 RPM to take the test. Too bad they can't give me horsepower numbers, not that I expect a whole lot.
