There was one winter I ended up storing the S at a family friend’s farm. Found a lovely little nest under the hood and IIRC I had to replace a wiring harness.

 

TIL about local “front door ninjas.” Apparently it’s a group on FB (started before the pandemic). People post basic things about themselves (I like chocolate, have a dog, etc) and then others go out and buy stuff for them, leave it on their doorstep, ring the doorbell and run away. The idea is that it’s anonymous and a kind gesture.
Not reactivating my Facebook though to find out more
