I’m sorry to hear that. I lost count somewhere around the 15th or 16th client passing away, and all but one were a natural death. After ~20 years working with people with lots of trauma I’m seriously considering shifting to hospice work. At least there death is expected.

I had a girlfriend who was a hospice nurse and I had asked her if it depressed her and she said no because she felt that people were going off to a good place, she was very religious. There has been a lot of death in my world lately only one person who I knew well and he was 89 and had just gotten sick recently from being exposed to asbestos when he was younger. I just found out tonight that his sister died just the day before him which is strange. There have been 4 or 5 other deaths in my area with a few being young people which is always sad.

Ugh that’s tough.
I think your ex-gf had an awesome perspective. I’m not religious but can see the satisfaction in knowing you helped give someone the best death possible. I’ve known of too many who died alone and that should never happen (unless the person wants it that way).

That Hershey’s makes a Birthday Cake chocolate bar. Pretty sure it’s just pure sugar but I’ll let you all know.

That evidently the Who's final concert tour that I saw was not in fact their final concert tour. I still have not worn that t-shirt from that concert and it is in a vacuumed sealed bag somewhere at my mom's house. I wonder if it is worth anything?

That the hot version of the salsa I made and canned from our garden peppers and tomatoes is HOT lol. Tastes great, but it certainly lays on the heat! Made with jalepeno and habanero, seeds n all! Good stuff!

I have not but vtecsister has and she said they were loud and fantastic. I used to go see Aerosmith back in the day wearing my jeans with the bandana wrapped around my leg and sporting a mullet and going there in my trans am.
