Today I learned that Billy finds friends going to the slammer for Stat Rape amusing. Today I learned that WSB had best be careful about chicks he meets in bars; as that's what happened to a friend of mine. 10 years; but out in 2 (end of this year).

 

I don't think it's funny nearly as much as it's bullshit. I've had friends/acquaintances get charged with stat rape for knocking up their long time girlfriends when she was 17 and he was 18/19. The only thing that saved them was the mother's parents going in front of the judge and telling the judge putting the father in jail would ruin 5 people's lives. Our judicial system has a really hard time discerning (physically) mature people making adult decisions and perverts taking advantage of young girls.

Not sure what the law in CA is, but I recall MI's law (the last time I was at risk of picking up someone underage) that if she's in a bar that's sufficient proof that she is over 18 (or 21 in this case).

 

Today I learned my 1:18 scale car collection now consists of 450 cars (not including the cars for sale.) In addition, I learned if my collection was to be duplicated at the car's original retail price, it would take over $25,000 not including taxes or shipping to do it.

 

Today I learned my car collection is second only to my house as the largest investment I have.

 

Today I learned how to use Microsoft Excel which helped in calculating all this . This was all done at work.
