Today is International Women's Day.
Thanks! It's really awesome that just as many men seem to acknowledge it as women do.
Every year I reflect on some of the women who have influenced my life and especially with this year's theme (Choose to Challenge), the first woman that comes to mind is RBG.
She was so quietly fierce, principled, courageous and committed. Often women who come into positions of power are under fire for their physical appearance, or accused of being "too soft" or "too aggressive" - the media rips them apart. But it's like she just sort of went about her business, gettin' it done and stayed at it, right until the end. She's obviously an amazing woman, worthy of looking up to, and she's contributed so much to the growth and progression of society.
