I was thinking about that miata with the v-8 init...a (WOOHOO) STOOK engine would definitely be a lot more balanced in a miata setup than a small-block!

I agree. Very interesting idea Jim. Suprised no one has tried it yet. I would imagine you would need to bring the tranny along with it and probably do a lot with the axles and diff.

Hmmm...interesting thought. I'd only do it if I found a straight Miata w/o a drivetrain, though.

A V-8 in the Miata...now THAT keeps getting me intrigued. Not for Guinness, though. She will remain a lightweight, tossable car in the truest sense. Maybe a turbo, but nothing to overly complicate the balance of the car...

As for taking the Tahoe up skiing...he's probably really taking it out on some of the great four wheeling trails up that way!!
