I agree. Very interesting idea Jim. Suprised no one has tried it yet. I would imagine you would need to bring the tranny along with it and probably do a lot with the axles and diff.
Hmmm...interesting thought. I'd only do it if I found a straight Miata w/o a drivetrain, though.
A V-8 in the Miata...now THAT keeps getting me intrigued. Not for Guinness, though. She will remain a lightweight, tossable car in the truest sense. Maybe a turbo, but nothing to overly complicate the balance of the car...
