So, that's too bad about the BBQ girl, but is there anyone new / recent that I need to catch up on?

(remember, I live vicariously through you guys!!!!)

Yeah, it's unfortunate that nothing came of it, but I didn't put much effort into it and she didn't call me, either. Who knows...I might run into her again at mom's next BBQ...

Nope, no other women in my life for you to catch up on. I've been spending a lot of quality time with my parents the last few months, so not much time for any other social life. All in all it's been a worthwhile tradeoff, though, because I'm slowly starting to rediscover my old self and I'm stressing less and less about the mess I let my life become.

I guess, all in all, that sounds pretty good, Brunt. Introspection is very good for the soul. Parents, when you finally reach a point when you can communicate with them as adults, can be great!

What I desperately wish I could do is take 3 months to myself and just go somewhere alone. Well, alone with my car, that is!

I get plenty of alone time since I live and work by myself, but things started turning around for me right about the beginning of this month and I've been a pretty happy camper.

I WOULD like to go to a fairly remote tropical island and relax in a hammock for a few weeks, though!

That image ROCKS, Brant.

:imagines himself on island hammock, with S2000 keys hanging on the tree:

There would definitely need to be some decent roads on that island ...
