Bad, very bad, times since Friday afternoon. Saturn started breaking brackets we supply on one of our parts Friday. Called me at 9 am Saturday. Been in conference calls almost continuously since then I may still need to go to Spring Hell, but I'm fighting as best I can. So far, it looks like root cause is that our bracket supplier changed their metal supplier without telling us, and now we're getting microfissures in a bend radius.

Good thing I don't carry a gun to meetings

Sorry to hear Martin.

We have similar problems supplying to automotive companies here.

Most of the problems we've had are due to sub-contractors and our suppliers.

Yep, Peter, I think these problems are universal to OEM suppliers. What sets us apart is how well we respond to them.

Time for

A sounds pretty good at this hour of the morning.

I think the biggest headache is the lack of co-operation from suppliers and sub-contractors in dealing with issues and NCR's.
