Parse means to break down into smaller components, but in geek speak... when you type a url in ( say www.cutedog.com ) the software breaks the line down and recognizes that it's a url and adds the url tags in order to make it show up as a link... I was saying that Barney need not add the [flirt] tags since it's just a given that if he's saying something to a woman, it's going to be recognized as flirting...
