Default Total lunar eclipse tonight

First one in three years.

What You Need To Know About the March 2025 Total Lunar Eclipse - NASA Science

Check it out, weather permitting. Binocs will help if you have em. We've had a lot of rain, including a downpour all last night and this morning, but the weather forecast right now is a window of clear weather from just before sunset until early AM. I'm going to take the big scope out and do some serious shooting, including the blood red moon.

It's beautiful through the scope, but no pics. It's cold and I'm being lazy. Sorry.

Thanks for the video! I tried to stay up for the entire thing but was exhausted and had to get to sleep for an early morning meeting and before that I had to take my kid to school. What I watched was of course pretty cool
