I mean, what's a BMW Z-5?

I've never heard of this model, George, Jack.

I'm not sure, but I've seen rumors (in Car Talk even maybe?) that BMW plans to make a 2000lbs roadster powered by a high revving 240hp 2 litre engine ( doesn't that look rather familiar? ).

Let me see if I can find the thread.

I haven't heard of it either. Maybe he meant Z4.

Many people have said that BMW will never bring another 4 cylinder car to North America, all have been failures. It will probably be a bit heavier with a 2.5 or a 3.0 engine. It would be BLAZIN' if it had the 3.2 Liter I6 from the M3

I think search is broken, I find it hard to believe that a search on the keyword "bmw" would return 0 results.

Ah, OK... Sorry, Jack. I thought you were talking about a current model (like a variation on the 5-series)...

Dinan is featured in this month's Road and Track.

Jack, hey, all I can say is that they better replace the Z4 quickly. UUUGGGGHHH!

No it isn't. I tried looking for it too. You might need to be more specific. Last time I tried, BMW M3 didn't return any results...

I did a google search and found this:
http://www.powerwheelz.net/bmw/indexjs.htm...w/models/z5.htm

It's 2.2L rather than 2L

Thanks, Jack. If they re-do the front, it looks like it has some potential...

Someone at BMW has been understudying with the "edgy" guys at Cadillac!
