Well none that we have found yet It does have very odd angles and staircases that you have to be tiny and in shape to go up and down......people were little 200 years ago!

When we moved in...we could not get any of our furniture up to the 3rd floor (master bedroom) due to the angles and turns in the staircase..except for Debs king sized bed...which had to be folded in HALF to fit....the next door neighbor is an architect...and he basically said they used to build these houses then build furniture inside to fit the house.

My aim at some point in my life is to buy a very old, run down building and renovate it to be just how I want it

Funny, our staircase to upstairs is too small for most furniture. We have 2 sets of big French doors opening out onto decks upstairs so we end up hoisting stuff up the outside of the house and thru the doors there.

The basement stairwell is small too. I still like old houses

me 2 we both love old houses! MY wife has a piano and they (the movers) wanted to take out a front window to get it to the second floor I was like ummm guys this is a historic property...and we RENT Here..... (it sounded expensive!)
