Got it! Finally arrived. Very cool.

Hey Josh... When you get hits from CHP in the Hwy, which band(s) is in usually on? Any other tips.... do you use "Logic" or "Advanced-Logic" modes?

I got mine last thursday and put it to test this weekend 800+ miles to visit family in minnesota

not many cops out

IMO the V1 makes driving fun again

3/4 of a mole on flat lad i picked up a minnesota cop sitting in a wayside!

hardwired mine off of the fuse box instead of using the supplied scotch lock

I agree - it's a little on the sensitive side but better safe than never. Although nothing is safe against instant on radar!

It's more impressive when you're travelling 'at speed' and it picks something up. This happened several times on Hwy5.

True. Hopefully you're not the only one on the road and it will pick up 'spray' from the good officer trying to get someone ahead of you.

I usually keep it on advanced logic mode, unless i'm in the middle of nowhere. then the x-band is handy to let you know you're approaching a town and need to watch out of local cops using instant on.

CHP is almost 100% Ka. scotts valley has some K I know, but almost all Ka.
