Default Vanity Plates
The Virginia Department of Motor Vehicles has recalled the vanity license plates of a Fairfax woman whose plates read"STFU-PLS," the Smoking Gun Reported. Kristen Norman said her plates stand for "Stay True For You"- with "U" representing the word "You"- the motto of a late friend whose initials were "PLS." After the agency received a complaint that the tags stood for "SHUT THE #### UP, PLEASE," it told Norman her plates were invalid and to return them.
