Very difficult to inform all of you here in The I am SAD to relay that we have lost a very GOOD FRIEND of the

His GF of over 23 years called me to give me the SAD news. I was

most of you know he had been taking care of his Mom in WA for over a year & 1/2 due to Covid, keeping HER safe and looked after her

I can't give more info but no he did NOT have Covid

AGAIN this is probably the TUFFEST Thread I've ever had to compose

Please know that I will personally relay your thoughts & prayers to his sweetheart.



I had the pleasure of meeting Mike & Jen many years ago in WA when they were there to visit his folks. We had several outings over the years The Dairy in this was my fave, Mike had a GREAT sense of humor and a HUGE

He WILL BE MISSED in here no doubt!

I will be running his AV for awhile

The phone call was extremely hard for mom I am in touch with her though and will relay as I said any Memorial info etc...

Like most people on this forum I didn't really know him, but any man who can keep a girlfriend over 20 years must be special.

Shit. He is/was a great guy. I didn’t get a chance to meet him but we had a great time going back and forth on S2KI.

One of the best ever.

I noticed he hadn’t been posting for awhile. Over the last ~15 years, we never managed to meet in person, either at the Dragon or at one of Mom’s BBQ’s but I definitely felt like we had a friendship through here. He was a good human.

My heart goes out to Jen and all his other loved ones (including you Mom and the other s). He was a long time presence and will be missed dearly.

I am so sad.
