Taiwan ?

I am back in Tokyo now .....

I was in Kaohsiung, which is a little quiet for my liking

Taipei is much better, but we don't have so much work up there ....

LA is huge....

the Suburban area I live is very quiet...

of course urban area like DownTown LA, Hollywood, coast area are not that quiet.

Exactly ..... Kaohsiung doesn't seem to have a decent downtown area with life ..... Well, not like Tokyo and Hong Kong do anyway .....
