I agree I was never psycho about my cars care until the S....... not even the BMW I mean, it can still go a couple weeks without a wash, but when it gets washed, it's by me and its thorough, with microfiber towels, etc etc......

I agree, my S is there to be driven, and driven hard

I guess having totalled one already it makes you realise that it is just a car and that the well being of you and your passenger is much more important than the car itself .... it kind of puts things in perspective !

I do drive it hard....just not throught a desert with massive rocks!!!!!! plus it is all straight boring driving....even though you can top out

BTW...I meant the 250 GTO and not the later 288 GTO...though I would happily take either of them.

I actually really like both of them. My four favorite Ferraris are:

250 GTO
246 Dino
288 GTO
Modena (NOT the drop-top, though)
