Here is a 3-shot splice I did of the falls. I wasn't paying attention and changed my focal settings, so it didn't work out as well as planned...

Monday... going to the coast while the other

I saw a road sign indicating a boat ramp, so I pulled in the lot expecting, well, a boat ramp... this is what I found
The Wilson River, which parallels OR6 (or rather, the highway parallels the River)

Finally... I set foot in the Pacific. Prior to last weekend I had only been west of the Mississippi three times, all of them in Texas
... so it was a big deal for me. 
My new background:
I *think* this is Arch Cape... but I'm not sure.

For mom:
Normally I wouldn't include a botched (
) picture, but I really liked this one, and was quite mad that it didn't turn out, especially since it took 45 minutes of walking through overgrown bushes to get to the vantage point... 
... so it was a big deal for me.
