What about an advisory board?
This is not a flame! This is not a rant! Just a thought! Please read and respond as such.
Is it possible to set up an advisory board for policy changes ,etc? The board could be set up in many ways, members only, members+guests, etc, or a weighted combination thereof.
I love this site and personally have brought many new owners/guests to it through organizing local events. I do feel somewhat slighted that we have no say or voice on changes that affect all of us. Obviously management does care about our opinions because I know a lot of gold members expressed distaste for the new badge and a change was made.
I realize this site is a for profit business and hard decisions have to be made. That being said it IS a public forum where people gather to express different viewpoints so why not let some have a say on changes that affect everyone?
I sit on my local Chamber of Commerce's Executive Board. Yes, we are responsible for voting, bylaws and decisions, however the membership at large is always welcome to have a voice on all voting issues.
If this idea ever comes to fruition I would like to volunteer to be part of it.

Whether you realize it or not, user feedback is listened to a lot, and in fact there is a "site info" forum that is ideal for presenting complaints and suggestions. The administrators regularly read that and heavy topics there do affect board policy.
