Hi Patty!

Sure is different when they are older. Our daughter and her boyfriend came over at 10 for breakfast and gifts. We woke our son up when they got here and we had a fancy breakfast and a real leisurely morning.

It was really fun when they were little but I like having grown up kids, they are still fun.

We got our son car parts and he had a great time putting on his new bumper, looks good! Also got him a computer for his car, it's some mopar thing and a muffler. Should quiet him down a bit as he's had straight pipes for almost a year

Got our daughter a fancy serger she wanted so the kids sitill get fun toys!

Nancy!

My kids are couch potatos. My son is very into the Magic card game. He ordered $250 worth of cards off the internet on my credit card for his Christmas presents. One bunch came but the one from Singapore hasn't yet. He also got a "Prince of Persia" for Game Cube and other stuff. My daughter wanted a TV for her room, which we gave her since her boyfriend got her the DVD/VCR. She's into the Grinch and Cat In The Hat so I found her PJs and other stuff with that on 'em.

When I was a kid I always wanted a NEW BIKE! Or a tent. Never did get the tent or the bike. I had to buy them for myself when I saved up.

I made my husband a stained glass and that was fun. Now it's my turn to make something for me. But I want to go play outside today. Think I'll take the dogs to Vasquez Rocks or something.

Sorry I am late, I've been away too long. Let me answer some questions

First- NO it is not "real" it is a Factrory Five as guess on early- good call.

Second- NO I did not do th4e floor myself, I paid the flooring company to do it. I could do it now, but at the time, the wife thought it better to have the pros do it. Probably a good call in the long run. I LOVE IT!! It's Armstrong Industrial tiles (the same stuff you walk on in the supermarkets.) About once a month I mop it and twice a year I will strip off the wax and rewax it. That is an all day job. I had to replace 1 tile do to the glue coming up- don't know why that happened, but I have had it now for 2 1/2 years (3 hot summers) and have had no "hot tire" problems. The heat will darked the wax a little, but that gets fixed when I rewax the floor at the end of the summer.
