this is truely a sad day for me.
I got laid off a while back from IT.
finally, the only job that came my way is like freaking difficult as hell. I am underqualified. My brother who is IT guru (with CCIE -hight cisco certification, JNCIE- highest Juniper certification, firewall certification, CCDA, CCNA and all the mambo jambo) says this is by no means an easy job. He had interviewed for the job and got the offer, but refused it cuz it pays 40k less than what he is making. Now, the same job is steered my way and no way in hell i am gonna get this job.
Should i save myself from embrassements and not interview at all or should i go and get my self confidence demolished?

I am so bummed today :-0

Well....you could tell them up front that you may be lacking the skills, but that you are willing to learn. Some places will train and others expect knowledge.

ahhh. this is not help me guys.
i called this other recruiter and will be taking a job that barely pays mid 50s. Damn.. my life is going down the tube faster than i imagined. I think pepsi and tace hell can wait a little bit longer. If all else fails, i guess there is always a place for me there. :-)
