What to do when you lock your keys in your car.
I was at the Saturday practice and qualifying (and the Pro-Celebrity race) of the Long Beach Grand Prix with a friend. My friend locked my keys in my 93 Prelude. We talked to a cop, and he tried with burglar tools to get the driver's door open. No luck. Then I realized my trunk was ajar and 1/3 of the back seat back folded down, exposing the trunk -- too small to fit through. My friend said "We need a little person." Just then, a guy walks by with his son, about five years old. I said "Can we borrow your son to climb through that hole and get my keys?" He just looked at with this skeptical look. Then the cop asked him and he said OK. It was the damnest thing I've ever seen. The kid climbed into the trunk, wiggled through the hole, climbed around the front seats, and opened the door -- to the applause of the crowd that had now gathered around us.
I borrowed a neighbors kid on Halloween years ago to propose to my ex-bitch..I was in a giant 7 foot Pepe Le Pew costume..and wanted a decoy so she wouldn't know it was me... The guy literally thought I was crazy! but did let me borrow his kid.
