Good luck with your ragtop woes, Luke. There was some discussion about well-placed velcro strips that might have something to do with wear??
I can only say, after owning many convertibles, that top replacement is unfortunately part of life. However, I agree with you Luke, that 2-3 years is way too soon. I'm talking 5+ years before you should expect this kinda thing.

I just checked mine and there doesn't SEEM to be any wear, but it is dark at the moment .....
Also, picking up on something that I think Jim said, it is something often associated with the early model years in a car. While I was in the UK last week, I went to have a look at the local TVR dealer's stock. While I was chatting the subject of reliability etc. came up, and they said that on pre-owned cars, they try to avoid the first 2-3 years of a run of TVR's since the quality improves over time witht them .....
