I hate the s2000s lack of torque

 

 

I hate it when I go to Queensland to watch the Honda Indy 300 on the Gold Coast and the whole thing is rained out.

 

I hate the fact that the S is only a Honda and that we don't get to pay Porsche rates for servicing and parts

 

I hate that I was watching the Indy cars yesterday, but didn't see Peter on the telly!

Nice one about the Porsche parts, James. So true!

 

Evening Charlie, I spent the race in the apartment watching it on telly.

Porsche servicing is about 10 times the price of my S here.

I knew a guy who had a 928 Porsche, it used to cost him $2000 AUD to service. My Honda is about $200-300 AUD.


And that was just for regular services, major was about $6-8 grand AUD.

 

Still, I wouldn't mind owning something like a 911 GT2 some day.

 

I think we have to admit that the higher end Porsche's are awesome cars. I just sure as hell wouldn't want to have to pay for one. The Boxster vs. S2K debate is a really interesting one because Porschephiles think the Boxster is the "little baby," but Honda folks think the S is the flagship. (Acura NSX notwithstanding).

The GT2 is sure slick, Jack.
