After that, I was the sr. engineer at Buell Motorcycle. When I started there, I was employee #14, and we often worked out of Erik Buell's barn. I was the program manager on the M2 Cyclone - that was my baby, and watching the very first bike come off the production line was almost as emotional as having my first child. Of course, we had taken that from a clean sheet of paper to production in 10 months, faster than anyone in the industry has ever done
We used to joke that all the work was done by the "3 a.m. Coffee Club" (Erik, myself, Brett). When I left, H-D had too much creative control, we had over 200 employees, and were building 40+ bikes/day.Now, I supply brake components to the Big 3. My company (Nissin) is the primary brake supply to Honda for both cars and motorcycles. However, I don't have much contact with the Honda side (unfortunately)!
There, a nice resume, in less than 50 lines

Wow Martin! That's a sweet resume indeed. Sometimes I wish I stuck to pit work and restorations, but instead I chose to come here and study architecture. Before that I did a lot of varying jobs, all involving drawing of some kind....I was an animator (hand drawing), and I have also done computer FX for film, corporate identity design, and storyboarding. Architecture by itself doesn't pacify me.
Cars are in my blood though. I don't know what I would do without tools! Haha.
THE SHOPGUYS
I am still looking for a garage down here (live in an apartment) so I can bring my little collection and my mini-machine shop down to DC

Jim's GF: "Hi" :runs up and gives Jim hug:
Jim: "Hi" :returns hug facing his car:
Jim's GF: "You're staring at you're car again aren't you"
Jim: "I think I need to check the alignment tonight...I hope I can find the new socket set"
Jim's GF rolls eyes
