Going to finish the last episode of the original Twin Peaks TV series with my daughter tonight. Sad to see it end. At least there is a movie then a Return to Twin Peaks series years back.

 

My wife is a giant fan, so when we started dating, I started watching it episode by episode.

 

I had watched Fire Walk With Me in the theater when it premiered, so I knew how it. . . Ended? Riiiiiight. . .

 

I got through two episodes of the Return. . . , and while I enjoyed it, we then lost access to the provider (HBO/HBO Max/Max/insert your name here), so I never re-started.

That said, after having seen a lot more of Lynch’s stuff, it all kinda fits.

 

David Lynch was a great guy

 

I consider a lot of his work perfect Post-Modernist American perfection. The theater scene in Mullholland Drive is still burned in my brain.

 

I watch a lot of YouTube. Anyway, vespajoy and I just watched the first two episodes of this:

It's been good. Michael Downie is just a very affable Canadian who loves travel and train travel especially.

I’ve been watching episodes of Flashpoint. Funny to hear them say things like, “The photo is coming through on your PDA.”
