What would you do?
Ok well I am coming to a crossroad in my life this summer. To sell, or to mod.
I have been through the modding thing before. My last car was a 98' Eclipse GSX, fully built rolling 440whp (500+crank), ran mid-low 11's on street tires. blah blah blah, anyways.....
I sold the eclipse back in nov 04' and picked up my current S, 03' Silverstone first week of dec. I have had it now for 18 months and I have not done a damn thing to it. At a time I had a stash of parts in the garage, some of which included a new set of volks, tein flex w/ edfc, and some other goodies.... I sold it all and decided not to dump my hard working cash into modding yet another car, I reminded myself I sold the eclipse for a reason. To get away from the money pit.
I just paid off the S this last december and I am contemplating selling it, or modding it. It has a 100k/7yr warranty on it, so I don't wanna go and screw that up. I am thinking about either A) getting back into the modding world with a car with no warranty but the only car I could see it being worth my time and money would be a supra (gee, go figure). My other option would be to keep moving up the ladder as far as makes go and step up to something with a lil more of a pimp factor to it, thinkin like a e46 m3??
I really don't know what to do at this point. There are so many ways to go, but no real want to do it. What would you do? If you have any car suggestions please let me know, anything in the ballpark of under $50k at this time. I had the s2k bluebooked at about 21k, but I realize I might not even get that. so I would most likely be putting down 25-30k on another car as a downpayment and I would be willing to finance another 50% of the downpayment made on top of it. Anyways, let the ideas flow.
