Dropped Threads: What we Aren't Told.

Probably not something the boys would be interested in - it's basically a collection of essays about things women weren't told about. Pretty interesting actually.

^ Since then I've finished OITNB, moved on to Doug Coupland & Graham Roumieu's Highly Inappropriate Tales for Young People. Finished that a couple nights ago (it was a quick, easy read) and now I'm reading Miriam Toews' All My Puny Sorrows. So far so good.

Reading Douglas Coupland's Worst. Person. Ever.

I'm not even 1/3 of the way through it but it's given me several roffles so far and I expect many more. I'd definitely recommend it.

^Finished that and I definitely recommend it.

Now I'm reading National Geographic Traveler. Been told to keep my reading light (magazines/nothing too serious that requires concentration), or to read things I've already read before. Cool thing is, the local library offers online access to magazines for free.

Finished reading The Woman Who Changed Her Brain. That was definitely an interesting insight into people's behaviour and how the brain works. I'm now reading Norman Doidge's The Brain That Changes Itself and it's pretty interesting so far.

Finally reading Gabor Mate's "In the Realm of Hungry Ghosts" - loving it so far. He's articulating everything I felt I "knew" but didn't have the evidence to back it up. I truly wish everyone could read this book. Unfortunately most people like to cling to things they already know and believe.
